We delivered a cost-effective digital solution for Lisvane Baptist Church, transforming their outdated WordPress site into a modern, static website with zero ongoing hosting costs. As a charity with limited resources for website maintenance and security updates, the church needed a solution that would eliminate both financial burden and technical overhead. We built a lightweight NextJS application with an integrated audio player overlay for sermon playback, backed by Sanity CMS for easy content management. The entire site is deployed on Cloudflare's edge network, leveraging free tiers across all services to deliver a completely cost-free hosting solution. The project was completed in under a week, with development costs equivalent to just one year of their previous hosting expenses, providing the church with a sustainable, maintenance-free digital presence.
